This one has some special significance for me... It's taken in my home town - Grantham, Lincolnshire. I grew up there from 1973 until 1992. Looks like a charming market town, doesn't it? But since I left, the town has somehow fallen on harder times and I have rarely felt more threatened when taking a night picture than I did that night.

Apart from spawning one of the UK's most divisive public figures, Margaret Thatcher, the town also produced Isaac Newton.

645Z with 55mm f2.8 DFA lens.

Nice shot. I think I stayed in an inn just out of shot to the left when I went to view my now dog when he was a puppy. He was from a farm near Allington. I do recall it all getting a bit raucous outside after closing the night we stayed over

Thanks!
I can't think of one to the left of the shot, but there is the famous Angel & Royal (and old coaching inn, dating back to 1203 (wow!) - which is out of shot to the right. Was that the place?

I know Allington well - it's on the side of town I am from. Often used to ride through it on bike rides. And my late Dad used to have his old lawn mower serviced there by a craftsman - remember when people repaired things, and craftsmen existed?

"Raucous" is a good word for it, though - it my recent experience is anything to go by - it may be an understatement...

Old stock from an old plant in Russia. 645Z + 90mm DFA. Not a bad combo for such weather conditions.
