Thanks Ed! IŽll almost never do things like that. I sometimes clone away some objects on the sides that were not supposed to be there when I was composing the shot. It would be aestaticly better though but this is reality.
Or I should have waited a long time till it would have happened in reality.

dsmithhfx Your are very drastic!

Thanks, used to not like it so much either because of the highlights. Have gotten better results since using a CPL and ND grad filters more with it. Also, found a Y/G filter Hoya G(XO), works great for contrast.

Hey, FP4+ does okay. As good as any other film I've used.

Hey - I'm OK...thanks for checking in. Ed reached out and I do apologize for my absence of late - it's a combination of work and family life that has pulled me from takin' pictures and being on my favorite web forum.

Before I forget, tuco, that BW series of bridges and rocky beaches is simply mesmerizing!! well done and keep them coming if you have more.

So, last night, i finally put a battery in my camera and drove due north until it got dark, took out camera and pressed the little button a few times. It felt so good!
I got this shot of one of the old brides along the California Delta...there are dozens, if not 100+ steel or concrete bridges like this one.
