Nice shots Mike, and yes, Sequator works well for stacking MW photos, and for masking/blending a foreground. Though I've not yet tried with the 645z.
In the meantime...here's a very remote place with some astronomical association.

Nothing compared with Mike's recent, incredible astro picture...

Only about 30 minutes' drive from the centre of Sydney, Long Reef provides a surprisingly gentle, peaceful location for a night picture.

Very kind of you, my friend. Mostly done as a test of the stacking software that you recommended and kindly advised on... The picture itself is fairly tame by comparison with your recent work! But at least I am ready to use the software now when a suitable opportunity arises to take something good. Which, of course, depends partly on getting my camera back!

Alternate version of "Isle-aux-Pins" on Lake Wapizagonke, Mauricie National Park, CANADA. Reaching this viewpoint with heavy photographic equipment requires a lot of stamina. A 250 meter narrow, rock and root covered path leads to this vista point. Going down is difficult, going up afterwards is a hell of a chore. I asked the authorities at Canada's National Parks to install steel posts with a large cable to help us hold our balance along the way but to no avail. Tripod-mounted Pentax 67 II + M* 300 mm f/4 @ f/8. This lens is so good there is no need to close the diaphragm any further than f/8 to obtain awesome results.

Beautiful image, well worth the extreme effort you invested. I've seen some park trails that are very treacherous. Years ago a man fell from a 250 ft waterfall trail. We had been there a few weeks earlier and decided to take other pictures. Please be careful.
