Nice shots Mike, and yes, Sequator works well for stacking MW photos, and for masking/blending a foreground. Though I've not yet tried with the 645z.
In the meantime...here's a very remote place with some astronomical association.

Hey, Nancy Holt's "Sun Tunnels"! An Earth Art (Land Art) icon---and more important because she was a woman in a man's genre back then....although there's other significant female Earth Art artists.

just after I framed up my shot, a burst of cloud to ground lightning struck directly behind the building.

Spectacular capture of a very difficult subject. The lighting is superb.

Nothing compared with Mike's recent, incredible astro picture...

Only about 30 minutes' drive from the centre of Sydney, Long Reef provides a surprisingly gentle, peaceful location for a night picture.

Based on a sky stack using Sequator and a low ISO foreground...

Very kind of you, my friend. Mostly done as a test of the stacking software that you recommended and kindly advised on... The picture itself is fairly tame by comparison with your recent work! But at least I am ready to use the software now when a suitable opportunity arises to take something good. Which, of course, depends partly on getting my camera back!

Timing is everything! Great shot, electrifying, one might say.

Nice detail and color in that fall color shot. The 300 EDIF is quite a lens. I use mine for landscapes as well.

A few weeks ago the Moon was out in daylight and nearly full, an ideal opportunity to get the D & SMC 67 500/5.6 out.

The tripod is an old Uni-Loc 1600 Major with ball head (the stealth 'camouflaged' version in brown) configured in 'quad-pod' mode - the centre-column braced against the ground in addition to the legs:
