I hope this counts as Medium-format photography. The 645Z is just a big K3, after all.
Is that fairy dust over the blueberries?

Yeah, I still wonder what that was ... I always wash fruit under running water before eating them, I hope these are not pesticides ... It creates highlights all over and that's beautiful picturally but I guess it's better not ingesting it.

Regards

Thank you for posting these great portraits of the 645Z and 645 bellows. So massive! The "crutch " leg Manfrotto tripod is an excellent choice to steady it all. Have fun.
Thanks,
barondla

Terrific corn picture. First super corn I've seen ☺. Notice you have an extension tube between 645Z and 645 bellows. Is this required to attach the two? I've had to do this on the Pentax M bellows and some Pentax DSLRs before due to prism overhang. Thanks for posting my picture request.

Thanks for sharing,
barondla

Thanks

The bellows can be mounted directly without any extension tube. I could have used only the #1 ring instead of this #2, but it creates a little more space between the surfaces of the body and the bellows and it helps when you want to unlock and remove the body (I have BIG hands). Ring #2 is 26,6 mm long and you have to add this number to the indication on the bellows' rail to obtain the real magnification and exposure factor (although the 645Z takes care of all the necessary exposure adjustments in Av mode).

Regards

NEOWISE - again

Late yesterday the clouds cleared up and we went comet hunting again, and found it thanks to an app I bought yesterday SkySafari Pro. Best $20 I have spent in a long time. Turns out we should have been able to see it two nights previously, if only we had known where to look and waited a bit for the sun to set. We also have a lot of light pollution, because towards our north and north-west is one of the most populated and prosperous provinces of China with about 110m people, all burning bright lights. But we saw it last night, so today I couldn't resist adding it to my sunset picture from two nights ago. Added the comet in its actual position where we found it last night, now I suppose it is called a fine-art compilation. :-)

Hi,

Ahhh! The Attack Of The Giant Fruits And Veggies! Run Away!

Such colors, indeed! The bellows does good work.

I was hoping for thicker fog on the ground this morning but it still wasn't bad.

Hi,

Ok, my 645 A 120 macro lens arrived yesterday afternoon. Not all sexy like the bellows rig, so no shot of the setup.

I chose the morning light on the Gourd Arch and went inside to shoot a few test shots. The nice part of the Arch is one *can* go under the vines this way.

Here are a couple of bees being busy:

The have their own project to make another one of these:

That being a Loofah gourd. After it is grown and dried, I can wash all the sweat off from doing the farming to grown the things!
