Hey, Mike---have you been able to get out and do any shooting, or are the conditions too foul?

Not an exact comparison obviously, but I have now tried both...
Honestly, we don't see much model photography in this thread for some reason, and you've proven that Pentax can handle it well - great shots, on both platforms.

really awful for 1.5 months now. icky skies, very few clouds anywhere, just smoke, burning the eyes and lungs, and low visibility. So, I'm stayin' in.

Today's crop : no two days are alike. 645Z + FA 80-160 mm f/4.5 and FA 33-55 mm f/4.5

I spent the end of the day on the shore of the Saint Lawrence. Tide was almost at its highest and there was considerable cloud cover. The sun appeared for just a few minutes, just enough to shoot these images. The first two were taken with the FA 80-160 mm f/4.5 @ 160 mm FL and f/11, the last picture with the FA 33-55 mm f/4.5 @ 55 mm FL and f/11. Yesterday I learned one of my good friends at work (I'm retired now) was killed by a drunkard while bicycling, this may be a farewell sign. Learning of his premature death, I felt terribly lonely all day today.

Welcome to the forums and Pentax medium format. Your photo has very nice colors and the abstract composition is wonderful. Hope to see more of your photos. Which medium format camera did you use?

Thanks for sharing,
barondla

Nice!

You’re the first person I’ve seen use the Godox expensive 1200 WS flash. Do you really use it much? Do you usually need that much power?

Thank you! I used Pentax 645D + SMS Pentax 67 Macro 135 f4. I didn't understand how to leave a description of the technique above the photo.

Now I know I can trust the results I'll be getting from this 645 lens. Next step : try it on Extension tubes for close-ups.

SORRY FOR POSTING ALMOST THE SAME IMAGE TWICE.

Got out the D for the first time in a while tonight. I kept it close to home and conditions came together well.
