Not far from the Ste Anne is a small affluent where trout reproduce in these quiet pools. 645Z + 67 M 55-100 mm f/4.5 @ f/11 and 75 mm FL.
You're doing this on purpose! And of course I appreciate the photos...

I'm just testing your sense of humor ... lol ! When the Canada - U.S. Border reopens, come up North to catch trout.

Actually---that was on my list for this past summer until the pandemic. Wanted to go up north of Cabin Country to get into some decent brookies (down our way they're all about 6 inches long....). But I am an equal opportunity angler, and that bigger water looks like great water for smallies. Sigh. Next year, I hope....I also have an ongoing photo project up that way I started in 2018 that needs some more attention....

Aspen still in summer garb. Fall will turn it bright yellow in a couple of weeks.

Tripod-mounted 645Z + 645 FA 200 mm f/4, 1/500 sec and f/8. A wide opening was used to make the background a little fuzzy.

The Dr. Chau Chak Wing Building at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) was completed in November 2014. It's quite a remarkable thing... Designed by Frank Gehry, the building was named after an Australian-Chinese businessman who donated AU$20 million to the project, along with an additional AU$5 million for Australia-China scholarships. His son also studied architecture at UTS.

The building, which appears to have very few regular or flat surfaces, was said to have been inspired by the idea of a tree-house. Others have likened it to "a squashed brown paper bag"! Nonetheless, it's won various awards...

Notice the crazy, scattered reflections of the star trails in many of the windows.

Same night as the shot above... I don't think I need to describe the location this time!

How do you get a dark sky with star trails like that in such a light-polluted area?!

End of summer. Days are getting shorter. There was frost last night.

Picture taken handheld with a 645Z + FA 33-55 mm f/4.5 @ 45 mm FL, 1/200 sec and f/13. Light has changed and is becoming "warmer", shadows are gaining length, leaves are beginning to turn orange and yellow. This is what is called "INDIAN SUMMER" here.

Ste Anne downstream. 645Z + FA 200 mm f/4 + 1.4X converter, 1/125 sec @ f/11

This was the longest focal length I had brought along on this trip. Not "bad" but I'm sure my 67 M* 300 mm f/4 would have performed better.
