Hey everyone! so it has been couple years since I FINALLY bought my dream camera! the Pentax 645 !!!

I found a perfect condition body and bought the 45mm lens separately.
There are no words to describe the emotions this camera brings to me when I am ready to shoot! I love everything about her and I am trying to use her as a daily camera! Im lucky enough to have a lab that they do an amazing job developing 120mm film and slides!

to sum it up.. I love my 645 so here are some of my favorite shots from this year!
Excellent images and camera. There's just something about medium format. Enjoy the camera and post more images.

Thanks for sharing,
barondla

Thanks! Maybe a little cliché for me but I enjoy being there and making these kinds of images.

First image with new 67 M 200 mm f/4 on the 645Z. 1/640 sec @ f/5.6

Lens is "like-new". Absolutely no brassing on the bayonet, it seems the lens was never even mounted on a camera body. Glass is crystal-clear, diaphragm clean and working splendidly. Focusing is buttery-smooth. Exterior of the barrel is shiny and has no scratch. White lettering is immaculate. It cost me only 103,50 $ on eBay.

Comparison between 645 FA 200 mm f/4 and 67 M 200 mm f/4 : 67 is more true-to-life.

Sharpness and contrast are almost the same. The 645 renders warmer (more yellowish) colors than the 67 lens. I had to fiddle with the WB to obtain true-to-life pictures with the 645 lens.

645 FA 200 mm f/4

67 M 200 mm f/4

The 67 picture was perfect "AS IS". I had to fiddle with the WB on my Mac to correct the 645 yellowish picture and match the 67 rendering. Both ISO 800, 1/400 sec @ f/11 on tripod. Both lenses are labeled to be "200 mm" in focal length but the 67 seems to be a little longer than the 645 lens.

A difference is a difference, so thanks. In an absolute comparison with nature, are you running 'vibrant' or 'radiant' mode for these images?

645Z is set on the "VIBRANT" color palette. I take only landscapes and nature picture, never portraiture. "REVERSAL FILM" is a good choice too as it attenuates blue slightly.
