I also tried Provia 100F on my Crown Graphic with an APO Sironar 135mm N lens.

My Pentax 67 is back from the repair shop. The mirror was stuck in up position and the winding lever was jammed. It turned out a fastener fell out somewhere in the winding mechanism.

Trying out Fuji's Provia 100F and E-6 developing both for the first time.

Pentax 67, 67 55mm, Provia 100F, Tetenal E-6 2.5L Kit
Looks terrific. Sharpness and color are spot on. Glad you have the 67 back and repaired. I developed E6 years ago using Kodak chemicals. The only challenging part was keeping the temperature constant. Water baths aren't a lot of fun. 2.5L is a decent size kit. That was the other challenge, mixed color chemicals don't live long.

Is the Graflex 120 or 4x5? Image looks very 3D.

Thanks. Yes, 4x5 format. I have a Jobo CPE3 that keeps temperature. The Tetenal kit is similar to using their C-41 kit except longer times, an additional chemical and a wash cycle between each step. Shelf life of both stock and working solutions are about the same as their C-41 kit too.

Difficult contrast conditions on the Batiscan River. 645Z + FA 33-55 mm f/4.5 @ f/22.

Late Fall brings long shadows and low sun on the horizon even at noon like in this scene. I mounted my 645Z on a tripod along with my little FA 33-55 mm f/4.5 zoom. Picture taken at 33 mm FL, 1/20 sec and f/22, 200 ISO (lots of 2's). Colors are nice, the dynamic range extraordinary. The result: a crazy-sharp image.

P.S. After posting this image on the Forum, I noticed it didn't look too impressive here but the high-resolution original is really nice on my 27" Mac.

Hi,

Looks pretty impressive to me. Yes, they always lose something after fitting them to the online world. My lighthouse shots lose some as well but look grand printed at 16x20 and hung on the wall.

The lighthouse shots lose some printed on quilting fabric too, It is the nature of cloth vs paper as well as the 4 color printing (for the cloth) vs the 10 color printing (for the paper). But, the photographic prints on the cloth via inkjet look much, much better than the old screenprinting methods.

Wa2kqy : Thank you, Stan. At least someone understands my grievances.
