Originally posted by RICHARD L. Today the sky looked like the end of the world was coming our way. I received my 67 M 90-180 mm f/5.6 zoom and mounted it on the 645Z. This light condition lasted just a few minutes and the sky went completely dark and featureless pretty soon afterwards. Picture taken handheld well propped against the window frame of my Mazda (this lens is HEAVY), 1/1000 sec and f/11 in Av mode at the shortest focal length of 90 mm. Very impressive piece of glass ...
Wow! What an amazing sky. Great capture, glad you were ready. Haven't seen a sky quite like this.

P.S. I always wonder who first bought this awesome optic new, didn't know what to do with it and then let it go for peanuts. The original owner must have paid more than 1200 $ for it many years ago and I just got it for 265 $ last week. It looks like new, shiny barrel, crystal-clear glass, mechanically and optically pristine, built solidly to last a lifetime. It sure proved to be a very bad investment for the original buyer.
Crazy weather for sure. Perhaps the owner couldn't deal with the size and weight of a 67 and this lens. Unfortunately health can be fleeting.
Thanks everyone for sharing,
