Wonderful shot there, Mike. Superbly executed as always...

I remember exploring around that vantage point (or somewhere in the area anyway) and just not being able to make the shot work because the visibility was too poor. Oh, and I hadn't travelled with my 600mm lens either ;-). Trust you to have nailed it! Definitely one to revisit when I'm next able to come over there... Maybe together?

Thank you, Ed. My "dearest" surprise was the performance of the P67 165 mm f/2.8, nothing short of breathtaking, even as early as f/5.6. The 75 mm f/2.8 performs admirably, too. The 75 mm f/2.8 + 165 mm f/2.8 make a terrific duo.

Regards

I have those two lenses. Always loved that 165 f2.8 when I used it on my 67ii. Haven't used it much recently, but must do some time... But the 75mm f2.8AL is simply exceptional (apart from a little purple fringing that's easily managed at the editing stage).

Whoa! Talk about being in the right place at the right time---and also with mastery of skills and vision. The second 2 are my faves because of the visual rhyming, sky to ground.
