(Trying this again...)

Just got back the first roll from my recently acquired Pentax 67 / 105mm. Loving this camera! Shot on Portra 160 and "scanned" with Sony A7RIII and Negative Lab Pro.

Did you succeed in finding a "clear" (non yellowed) 105 mm f/2.4 finally ? SHARP image BTW.

Regards

I did! But I had to put away the thought of paying ~$300-400 and double it to get the SMC version. Was a tough pill to swallow but worth it to me.

Thanks!

High powers of ten ISO jokes notwithstanding, that is fascinating. The color temperature of the moon should be similar to that of the sun, modified by whatever spectral reflectivity the moon has. Did you or your 645Z choose a non-daytime color balance, or is this a product of post correction?

This was fun because to the naked eye, I was only able to make out the closest trees, and the mottling of moonlight on the road. The rest was a black void all the way back. I do not use Auto WB on the camera, so I selected a cool night look originally, which was the intent (hard shadows and spooky). Then, when i got it into ACR, I shifted it closer to a daylight setting and really preferred that look for the surreal daytime effect. Decided to stick with that.

Image has a " everything is slightly beyond normal " feel. Very enchanting. I like it a lot.

It was supposed to be a fine afternoon. A not quite Spring tide set for around sunset. It started to clear above Mumbles just before sunset, but looking across to my home town, Port Talbot I could see the murk was still there. I saw an opportunity though as I was seeing some salmon pink tones, and you can just, only just make out the steel works in the mist, plus, a crabbing boat just on the right. It would be easy to clone out, but I think it belongs...
Fuji GFX100s GF 32 - 64 f/22 9 seconds (small aperture to get the longer exposure time - even though it did reveal I have dust on the back of the lens which I have cropped out...

Nice picture for a large print to hang on a wall. Will set a certain atmosphere in the room because it looks as if it could be a water color painting.
