Beautiful blooms. The exposure captures the white blooms perfectly. Interesting that the 150 focuses so close. Most medium format lenses are lacking in this area. I often use an extension tube to get closer.

Thanks for sharing,

Yes, I believe mfd is 120cm, which is treat for a 150mm lens, a sharp lens at that.

To liven things up a bit, and to encourage us using our wonderful cameras more... I figure we should start a 'club', just post your shots using one of the Pentax Medium Format cameras, show off your lenses, films, pets, significant others, back yards etc.

I'm sure there are some awesome shots out there, as well as plain ordinary ones (but lovingly and exactly rendered by the Pentax)...

To get started, here from the first roll through my P645, 75mm lens. Unfortunately I haven't yet managed to get past cat photos with this cam. Maybe I'll get daughter to shoot with it...

Lovely shots!!!

Excellent doggies, the one with the 165mm is especially a fave with me... and Tuco, wow! 60 sec exposure, that's the kind of photography I want to do someday.

Here's nothing great, except that I handheld very slow shutter speeds with the 645 and 150/3.5, trying out an expired roll of Agfa APX 400 and developing in Fomadon Excel, an Xtol clone...

I love these, great job!

Random shots at home with dimming light

645Z and 400mm/5.6; ISO 400; camera jpegs

Dogwood blossoms on fir background (at about 30 ells).
Rhododendron Purple Jem (at about 4m).
Birdies at din-din (at about 8 yds). Induced feeder motion is significant for the exposure time. I could probably scare out a lot of fertilizer if I set up a forest of Cactus flashes for such shots.
