645Z HDR fun at a golf course in Montana, USA

....a first foray into the world of golf course photos.....meeting with the golf course operator in a few hours but thought it might be fun to show you some of the results after Aurora HDR got hold of them....

Obviously, some of these are overdone...its just example time....all these were taken at Trestle Creek Golf Course in St. Regis, Mt.....I will be giving the golf course all these images once its over (more shooting today and some reshooting still to do)

Some more re-edits.

This elephant bull came down the track and passed our Landrover. Contrary to the big cats, the elephants can identify you separately from the vehicle. His big eye staring at us was unnerving. He passed us without incidence and we were relieved to see his backside.

Great capture. The image splitter works well. Impressive DIY!

Thanks for sharing,

We went on a fantastic mega cruise ship to nowhere for three days/two nights.

We saw open seas, breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, ideal for minimalist compositions.

Was a surreal experience to "travel" again.
.

#1: Hong Kong sunset skyline from the ship's back deck.
#2: The moon setting over the city.
#3: Hong Kong night skyline from the ship's back deck as we departed
#4 & #5: Sunset while passing a fishing boat.
#6: Sunrise with a surprise color bathing in magenta/pink for a few seconds before the sun appeared.
#7: View from our balcony towards the back of the ship.

Good food, relaxing experience, freshwater pools. A nice recharge and intro to travel again sometime in the (near?) future.

Camera 645z, lenses used DA 28-45mm, FA 45-85, FA* 300mm. Tripod: none, the ship kept on moving, for stability I rested my elbows on the railing.

Comments and discussion, good or bad always appreciated.

I had to look the splitter up. Good use for a double exposure feature in the camera.
