Some from a wander down memory lane. My late mother used to take us out most days through the long summer holidays. It would all be on foot, and today I discovered it was about 6 miles - we did this 3/4 times a week for 6 weeks. Bristol in the SW of England has lots of great green spaces and much of it is unchanged since my youth...these are photos along the route...

GFX100s and the very lightweight and small GF 50 f/3.5 - when there was a rain shower I was able to put camera and lens inside my coat for shelter...

1.

2. I tried this with a blue split tone in the shadows...

3. BW

4. Same weir from further away

5. Towards the bridge where we used to play "pooh sticks"

6. BW

7. Snuff Mills Weir - the red streaks are fallen leaves flowing in the water

8. Different shot in BW

9. Looking from in front of what used to be a council run elderly people's home, Meadowseet. Now a housing estate, towards the distant central area of Bristol

Delightful pictures and a pleasure to just look at and enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

I recently picked up a Fuji GFX 50Sii (forgive me for though art have sinned and not shooting with a Pentax). I am very impressed with the camera and it's night performance over other cameras I have. I've previously posted this shot with a 645z (and my K-1, though I don't recall if I posted that or not) in case it looks familiar (previous shoot was interrupted by a couple of half drunk girls.) There is more detail from the Fuji and I did not have to do nearly as much work in post as I did with what was shot on the 645z.

Bit in Bold that's probably where I went astray when I first had the 100s. I processed using the same formula as with the z, and it didn't need as much processing.

Great film, you should try it outside in bad weather.

Hi,

Word Processor Mark II.....Mark I is a pencil or pen.

Mark III is, of course, what we're using these days.

Considering the years involved, I would refine this Mark II period to sub-periods where first the IBM Executive reigned supreme, followed by the IBM Selectric, followed by the IBM Displaywriter, then Wordperfect/Word/etc on personal computers. For even more refinement and alternatives to these examples, some information is here: A Brief History of Word Processing (Through 1986) / by Brian Kunde.

Me thinks Mark I was painting on cave walls.

The BW version, no 6 with blue split toning

Sunday morning we had a transition sunrise. The previous days and the night before was cloudy and grey with no sign of the sun showing its face. I woke up setting a bright red glow, almost a burgundy red. The pre-sunrise light was breaking through the thick cloud cover. By the time I had the camera in my hand, the colors had changed to orange and shifted to yellow fairly fast. It looked as if the sun had regained its strength and was pushing the clouds away. Some of the clouds were never enders and found some refuge behind a mountain.

I took several pictures with the 645z + FA200mm and delegated the stitching to ACR while sipping on a wake-up coffee. Pulling back on the dehaze slider added realism to the scenery.

Why don't you fuji loving dudes find a fuji medium format forum somewhere and stop trashing the 645Z....
