FA 150-300mm f5.6 Zoom

Does anybody have this lens? I was only aware that it existed thanks to the lens review database. Can't find any pictures of the thing on the net, nor a mention of it for sale, ebay or otherwise. For those who do own one, what's performance like, and market value?
Thanks

I don't think I have ever seen a photo of one, but they had one at KEH a while back...maybe 6 months ago. I think there was an "A" version as well.

No A version, Just FA. I have tested one. It was good for a zoom but my FA150/2.8 and FA300/4EDIF is sufficient for my needs. The 5.6 is slow but the lens is not much larger than the 300/4EDIF. There are still new ones that you can buy off the shelf in Asia.

I have this lens. It is light, and very sharp. I tested it against the 150/2.8 with a 15x loupe on Velvia and could see no difference. I use it with the MLU capability on my 645NII to get the most out of it, although others would probably argue this is unncessary.

I see this lens is listed as discontinued. Although new stock may still be available overseas (Asia, for me), I wonder if Pentax will start another production run of this and other recent FA zooms such as the 55-110, and 33-55?

It is as good as the 5,6/300, close to perfect. I loved it. Right now I have to sell my 645 stuff. If you are interested please go to my website:
