No, I do not forget about VAT. As you go on to say, there are arbitrary and huge differences in certain prices none the less. And here we get no sales and few incentives. Basically, everything is at list price, an impossible situation in N. America.

Saturday I spoke with a Pentax Hamburg representative at minikina* at Mainz (*it is a well known inhouse fair). I got some “not really” news – but nothing important.
The most important was that if the decision is fallen to sell the 645D in Europe – it is announced at photokina – and not before ! (something we guessed all
