I don't know re. Europe, but in the US this particular lens seems to have resisted the recent price rises in the wide angle end of the FA lineup.

Sounds good!

If it's in good shape...
And in an shop You should have at least one year warranty.
If the 645D is available in Europe lenses won't get cheaper.

For the price I´ll have a look in the FoMag list later.
The rises in the wide angle end is a phenomenon I know from Leica.

I looked in the FoMag (FotoMagazin) list.
A 2.8/150 FA isn´t listet but a SMC Takumar 2.8 /150 for 80€ and a 3.5 /150 for 130€.

If in good condition, the Pentax-FA 2.8/150mm + body are certainly a good deal for that price. Check whether it is a 645N body, as the lens would is for an autofocus camera which the 645 is not (although the lens will fit). If a 645N body, it is an even better deal. But all depends on condition.

Online I haven't seen a FA version of this lens for quite some time, and I believe it is deemed very good, although there are no bad lenses in the 645 range anyway. I do not have one myself, but from what I read the manual version would appear slightly weaker although all is relative.

Excellent lens and excellent price. The FA 150/2.8 price (new) is 1000 euros (more or less).

FWIW, I picked up one this winter for nearly twice the price. I think it's a good price.

I would buy it in an instant. The 150/3.5,while a very sharp lens, has a little difficulty focusing closely for portraits. The 150/2.8 focuses closer and has a wider aperture (making it better for portraits). I have both but haven't tested one against the other.

hi

the lens looked perfect.
the price is for the lens only.
for sale there were
the body at 499 euro
the fa 75 2,8 at 249
the fa 150 2,8 at 299

i can use the lens withmy k7 for the moment and maybe with the 645d in the future. can you tell me which adapter to buy to use the lens with dslr? and which focal lenght will become the lens on the k7?

IMHO there is a Pentax adapter P645 -> PK (N.B. no AF !). But I don´t if and where you can get ist. An alternative is a third party adapter eg. by Zörk (zoerk.com) or Novoflex. If possible I would avoid some out of chinese backyard produktion ("e..y").

250mm is 250mm - the focal lenght will not change
But with your K7 you´ll crop a part of it . The crop-factor is imho 1.5
So you get the "impression" of a 375mmm lens .
