In Camera RAW Processing v Aperture
Posted By: The Kellyboy, 03-17-2011, 02:11 PM

I won't bore you with the details why, but I used the in camera RAW processing on my K7 after I'd tinkered with an image in Aperture 3.

I was taking pics of a floodlit rugby match between Wales u20 and Ireland u20 and instead of using f/2.8 I'd accidentally moved the rear e-dial a couple of stops to f/4.

I've done the best I can with both pics and I've used Aperture on one pic and the in-camera RAW processing on the K7 AND Aperture on the second pic.

The results are quite surprising - while Aperture has kept detail, the K7 has dealt with the low light and shadows better...I'll leave you to decide which is best!
