Where is this K1000 from?

I'd guess Japan or possibly Korea.

i don't know exactly what it is.... whether a pentax or an asahi logo...?

i've noticed almost every k1000 on the internet has one, and mine doesn't...

do you know what could that mean?

Yours is almost certainly made in China. The absence of the Asashi designation above the Pentax engraving indicates that this is one of the post-1990 bodies. These bodies are also lighter than the Japan- or Hong-Kong-made specimens which weigh a little more than 600g. The China-made ones are around 100g lighter.
