A Better LCD Screen for the k-x?

Hi, I'm just wondering if any of you have any recommendations for an alternative lcd screen for a k-x. I've seen some threads on focusing screens - is that what I should be looking at, a focusing screen? Keep in mind that I'm a complete noob here, so I'm a little unsure at the moment of what exactly I'm wanting. All I know is that even to my amateur eyes the screen on the k-x seems less than spectacular. I'm continually surprised by how bland images look on the k-x screen and then how good they look once I get them on my computer - which of course has led me to the conclusion that the camera screen can't be at all trusted to judge the quality of my pictures....

Hi, as far as I am aware, there is no possibility to change the LCD screen on the pentax KX... or any other DSLR that I am aware of.... I do think that you can tweak the settings (brightness etc..), maybe this will get you what you want... however, a decent image will always look 100x better on a big screen.... or even better printed.

The focus screen you reference is something very different... is a small screen which shows the markings you see when you look through the viewfinder... if you take off the lens and look into the lens mount you will see how the camera superimposes this over the lens image... specifically the focus screen is located directly above the mirror....

Right, thanks. Even I would have known that if I'd taken the time to think about it - I was still drinking my first cup of coffee of the day. So I guess the lcd screen is just something I'll have to learn to live with. Oh well. Thanks again.
