K-x shooting in raw

Hi,
I have a K-x and was shooting in raw mode. When I down load pics to puter the photos turn a greenish color. Is this a puter issue or K-x issue?
Thanks in advance fpr your help.

You need to process your raw files using a raw converter. If you don't, chances are that they won't look good.

What RAW format did you use? PEF or DNG?
And what did you use to display your files on your computer?
For PEF not all (windows) software is able to handle the K-x files correctly.
DNG files should be displayed without problems.

On my e-IPS Dell monitor, K-x's default colors look outrageously bad. Bland, with a weird kind of (excessive) green... So weird, in fact, that I thought the camera was defective--until I saw pics posted by others (who, btw, seem to be satisfied with them). I switched the color space from sRGB to Adobe RGB, and the difference is nice and day. Colors in Adobe RGB (with Natural or Bright setting for WB) look very natural. Many advise against using adobe RGB for computer and online viewing, but in my experience K-x really works only in Adobe color space.

Bert i think you are right. My raw setting was PEF I will try the DNG setting and see if that helps. I will let everyone know.

Thanks,

Bert,
You are right. Set raw setting to DNG and all is fine. Thank you, and thank you to all with the quick replies.
