K-x: Can Aperture be set in Green Mode?

When the K-x is set in the Auto Picture "Green Mode" can the aperture be set to a desired F-stop or is it entirely automatic also? If so, will the result be the same as using the Av mode? Or is the Av mode the only option to manually select the f-stop?

Thanks,
Ed

You can in P (AKA Hyper Program), but not in green mode. In green mode, neither scroll wheel will be active. In P mode, you can adjust either the shutter speed or the aperture on the fly, and the camera will automatically set the other parameter.

You can also set the Apature in M mode, everything is manual in M mode.

I forgot about the hyperprogram mode. I've used that successfully in the past.
