I use Energiser 2500 nimh all the time.....can shoot till I'm sick of it, get the camera out a week later and blaze away again.

But I have found from experience, that the charge time is a big player in battery malfunction/life.

I had been happily using a four hour charger for years till it croaked on me, then I used my wifes fast charger that came with a pack of energisers, this is the eveready charger in the pack with the batteries.

These get the batteries far far too hot (Should never be more than warm) and knocked the reliabilty out of my batteries after two charges,

So we threw the charger out along with every battery it had charged along the way, bought a new four hour charger and all is good.

Think too many people can the battery before looking at what is charging it, if you want a quick charge you'll pay the price unless you buy a really expensive one that controls both charge current and temperature.
