Even new Pentaxes can use older K mount lenses. Does the Ka's have an A on them at the aperture ring? If so they are A lenses, and the others won't have an A, but be fully manual. Though you can use both, they both act differently on DSLRs.

Something you might be interested in reading about using older K mount lenses.

You can read about the difference between A and M lenses here: Pentax K-Mount Lenses Explained

M lenses are a lot more tedious on DSLRs (as linked in the post above), but A lenses work just like modern lenses, except with manual focus.

Hello,

All K mount lens can be used on a Pentax DSLR body.

The Pentax K mount, sometimes referred to as the "PK mount", is a lens mount standard for mounting interchangeable photographic lenses to 35 mm single-lens reflex (SLR) cameras. It was created by Pentax in 1975,and has been used by all Pentax 35 mm and digital SLRs since.

PENTAX A-series lenses han an "A" setting on the aperture ring and can be used as manual-focus lenses in all exposure modes on a PENTAX DSLR.

I was not able to find any info on "KM" lens. I did find a DSLR camera model KM.
