k-7 and fill flash gives me shake/blur/motion images?

Hi guys

I need your help

Today I was using fill flash on AF540FGZ with k-7

I noticed my images were not sharp so after a while I turn the flash off to not waste power while trying to check what was going on. Change between lenses and same problem .

Then I allow the in camera mode for shoot even when flash recharches and tried.

Guess what, image taken with flash is blured or something, the ones without fill flash are OK.

What I'm doing wrong?

Check the full images with exif here (direct download from my zenfolio account) if you care to download and help me.

Thanks in advance

I could not get the exif data but one thing to consider is that with fill flash the burst can be very short, and it is better to do trailing curtain sync so the flash goes at the last place the person is located in the frame, giving a sharp edge at the end of movement.

if you have an extremely slow shutter speed, in an automatic mode, motion blurr with daylight exposure cans till kill you.

I always shoot flash in manual mode to force the shutter speed to the place I want it.

I'm used to have razor sharp images and these are not.

Maybe it's what you say, I need to go manual with the flash!

Images can be download as original from my zenfolio.

Exif is on them:

The flash shot doesn't obviously look less sharp than the non-flash shot. Neither have a very clear focus point; I'm guessing that's really the only issue here. Had you focused on one of the faces in particular, it would have been sharper, but the focus isn't anywhere in particular that I can tell.
