kx DOA

Just received my kx from amazon today and I put in the batteries that came included and turned it on, no power. Put in a brand new set of E2 lithiums same thing, no power.

Am I missing something, or did I just get a dead camera? I followed the instructions in the manual.

Sounds like a dead camera to me and don't take this the wrong way, just pointing out the obvious, but make sure the batteries are inserted correctly.

I got my Kx about 5 months ago, did what you did, just put the batteries in, no other set up and the camera turned right on. I'd return it asap.
