HELP, cant remove lens (K20d)

Hello, I have a Pentax K20d that I just purchased. My father has a Sears lens
F60-300mm Auto. M# 202.7368300 that went on very easy, but will not come off now.
I havent used a camera in over 15yrs.
About to take a cruise next weekend for my daughters sweet 16 birthday.
any help or a place to take it near houston to be fixed would be Greatly Appreciated.

Thank you

You have fallen victim to the dread "Ricoh Pin". The pin has become stuck in the autofocus mechanism. If the aperture ring is set to the A position, turn the ring to a non A position, ie. 22. The pin may retract. On the camera make sure the MF/AF switch is set to MF. If the Ricoh pin retracts, like it does on some Vivtars, you may be able to remove the lens. If it doesn't it will have to be pried off the camera.

All Right...I did it....Ricoh Pin Lens is STUCK! -

Don't forget to remove the pin prior to remounting the said lens to avoid doing the same thing again.

I found that the ricoh pin on my vivitar 28/2.8 could be finagled past the AF screw by flipping the MF/AF switch, which pushed the pin back and thus you could move the lens past. I have since filed down the offending pin.
