Dynamic Range of K7 & Kx Sensor?

Anyone happen to know what the dynamic range is of the K7 & Kx sensor. Reading an article in Outdoor Photographer August 2010 issue and there's an article about exposure. Writer goes into how to determine the range but maybe someone already knows.

TBH. I only know of what's posted in the reviews. Though most of the data is similar so I guess there much be some reliability to what's being shown.
Having said that, it really doesn't look good for the K7 as far as numbers go. And seeing the lowly Kx flirting with the D700 and beating only makes things look that much worst from what I can see.

Only thing the K-7 needs is a decent sensor, samsung is ok, but,,.
Everything else is there.
