Where to buy Kx?

Hey this is my first post on this forum!

I am a complete novice at SLR cameras but I've done my research as to what direction to head towards. I decided to look into buying a Pentax K-x over Nikons and Canons. So my question is where is a good website/place to find a cheap and reliable K-x? I see that Amazon sells it for ~$500 while BestBuy sells it for $650. Any input is appreciated

The usual suspects include B&H, Adorama and Amazon. I have shopped from all of them, plus Beach Camera and Sigma4Less without incident.

The K-x comes in different lens versions, so make sure you are comparing the same items.

I'm good with the same bunch as SpecialK and also ok with Abe's of Main and Tri-State cameras.

I will say that if you have a local camera store that carries Pentax equipment, consider them first as it's good to support local camera stores. It may cost a bit more but you will make relationships that you will never have with an online store.

Unfortunately we don't have a local camera store that sells Pentax near us. I got my K-x at Amazon with the 300mm zoom for $628 shipped. Considered the others but A was cheapest.
