Change self timing countdown when taking a photo

Hello,

i have the k-x and i was wondering how can i change the seconds of countdown for taking an automatic photo...

I think there is somewhere an option, but i am struggling in finding it!!

I think i confused this option with my small Canon i have. It has a 3rd option were you can change the seconds...

Is there such an option in k-x?

I dont think there is...your best bet is getting a remote off of Ebay and using it...I have tried the 3 second timer and in my opinion if you are trying to get into a pic (dont think that is what its meant for) then its worthless. Though it does make for some funny pics as you run to get in the pic

Doesn't the Kx do 12 seconds? Pg 131 in the manual..

Yes it does 12 secs, but most of the times 12 is too much...

Two seconds, too short. Twelve seconds, too long. Can't help you then. Good luck..

Just use the 12 sec timer, then you have plenty of time to get in position for the shot....

i just asked if you can change the timer! I didnt ask you for a loan!

.... And I gave you an answer, 2 or 12. You didn't ask if you could customize the duration of the timer, just if it could be changed. What's the problem?
