If you can afford one with swivel head, go for that. You will need it more often than not without the swivel head. I have both AFG360 and AFG540. The 540 gets used a lot, but not the 360. If fact the 360 is only used when I need to use both flashes (in wireless trigger mode).

The flexibility that I can point the "swivel" head upward is important for me when I am taking shots in portrait mode.

I just remembered one more thing....

A swivel head is not just for bouncing. It's also for the effective use of diffuser. See this post.
