Aparture meter settings

As a newbie I donīt know if the aparture should have the numbers that it now has, it is different from what I had on my k20d. Now I have a k7.

This is the aperture numbers with a 50/1.4
1.4, 1.6., 1.8, 2.0., 2.2, 2.5, 2.8, 3.2], 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.6, 6.3, 7.1, 8.0, 9.0, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22.

I just want to get confirmation of that these are the right aperture settings (numbers)?

Is it just I that thinks that the EV step meter is quite sensitive and donīt give as good values as for the k20d?

Thanx in advance!

If you have your EV steps set to 1/3 then you are getting the proper numbers. If you want different ones, set the EV steps to 1/2.

Pg 116 in the (English) manual.

Thanx JeffJS!
Oh, sorry. That I had forgot to tell.
I do have the EV steps set to 1/3, so then I have the right settings.
They just feel so strange since they are different what I got with the same lens with the k20d.

You probably had the K20d set to 1/2 steps (or it came to you that way)..

I had the K20d changed to also 1/3 steps. It would just be interesting to know why the settings are different with same lenses and settings...
