Dust Removal Question

Do most people leave the dust removal on all the time? Wondering how necessary that is.Speaking about a K10.

I always do, and I never see dust on my sensor The DR in the K-5/K-7 and newer bodies is more effective than that in the K10, however, as it uses a higher vibration frequency.

Thanks, Adam. I was wondering if the constant shaking could harm the camera

I leave mine off and run it about once every 1-2 weeks and have only had 1 dust spec that I removed.

Only on power-up, which includes during lens changes.

+1. I've had to clean the sensor twice since I bought it, but there's some things that shaking simply isn't going to shake loose...especially when changing lenses in nasty weather.
