What doe's that mean?

What doe's that mean? all the abbreviated FF,C and all the rest of us nubie's have know idea what they mean. Can you folk run them past us. I will start with>I will edit and add them here.
Please add below mine and lets make a list. Thanks Rick


FF >Full frame #1

FF = full frame, sensor size about the same as the 35mm film frame (~24x36mm). Some high end DLSRs have these, while the rest have a sensor about half that size (APS-C).
