I ran into the same thing when i got my camera a week ago. The white balance for tungsten light fixed it. Then accidentally left it on when I took pictures in the woods and everything looked off I learned to double check the settings now when I'm about to start shooting.

There is a menu setting where you can control what settings the camera "remembers" having been powered off. Untick WB there and it will go back to AWB when turned on.

Found it...that's great! I haven't gotten that far in the manual yet! Thanks!

Hi LIGirl I'm new to my pentax and found my indoor shots were yellow too, may seem obvious but I used a higher ISO and changed the white balance to tungsten and it seemed to do the trick.
