In my experience the only way to decide is to take all of your crap to a real, actual store, and see what fits. [B]And for gods sake, buy from them. don't leave and order online./B]

A good camera shop will be happy to help you in your quest.
Gave you a rep for that

Just wanted to update that I went with the Caselogic SLRC-205 bag.

Camera fits in the main compartment not only with the 55-300mm lens attached, but also with a hood attached and still have room on the bottom. The 18-55mm lens went in the huge side pocket. 8-battery holder went in the other side pocket. There is still plenty of room left to fit a camcorder, spare camcorder battery, tripod, and I'm sure I can also still fit battery chargers for both camera and camcorder.

Bag slings comfortably around me and taking the camera out is quick and easy just by swinging the bag around to the front. Thanks for all the feedback!

Yes, it's a very easy fit in the 5MDH (even the 50-135 is an easy fit attached to a K-x), I've never tried it in the 4MDH as I don't own onw, but I'd imagine it would be fine.

I have the 5MDH (out taking photos bag) and the 7MDH (store all my stuff at home bag, or take or a lot of gear in the car bag). I think though I'd really like a 6MDH as well for when I need a few lenses and a flash, the 5MDH is just a bit small for that, and the 7MDH is very large.

Just to add another option, I bought the Lowepro Passport Sling and love it. It can comfortably hold my K-r with 55-300mm attached plus my 18-55mm and 50mm lenses and an array of accessories (bulb blower, lens cleaner, a couple of spare memory cards and batteries, filters, manual, Raynox 150, extension tubes, etc). In addition, there is room for the contents of my purse (so I don't have to carry a purse & a camera bag), a bottle of water on the outside, and it doesn't look obviously like a camera bag (a big plus when traveling).

I second the Lowepro Passport Sling.
Amazing little/big (you choose!) bag.

Best regards,

I've got a K-x, and bought a Lowepro Slingshot 102. Into it I can put the camera, both kit lenses (18-55 and 55-300), a Raynox 150, and either a flash or my Tamron 10-24 (which is a WIDE lens!) I'd considered getting a Lowepro Slingshot 202 but instead found the attachable Lowepro lens case (I got a 1W which holds the Tamron with its hood on) in case I want a little more room. My only regret is that the camera manual doesn't fit into the small pockets.
