Blue LED on K-x way too bright

I love my new K-x, but is there any way to turn off that blazing blue LED? I couldn't find any settings in the menus, and I've half a mind to go buy some black nail polish and take care of it that way. Has anyone else done something about it?

Disabling the Blue LED is on the menu. It's one of the custom settings (1st tab from the right). I think it's called "power indicator" or something similar.

Yes. See page 254 of the K-x manual.
Menu - Custom Settings 3 - 20. Power lamp.

I'm curious:

When does that LED bother you? In darkness?
