Spotmatic F shutter speed Dial stuck on '4'

Everything else works, Including setting the ISO. Will not move in any direction. Honeywell pentax service manual says that to remove the dial I would have to set it to B, which is currently impossible. Happened in normal use indoors.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

This doesn't sound like a fix-it-yourself problem. Eric at Pentax Camera Service can most likely fix it at a reasonable cost. Eric has helped many users on this forum and is highly regarded.

If you want to go the replacement route I have good experience buying used equipment from in the US and in Canada.

BTW, I'm not affiliated with any of the above mentioned outfits.
