Good evening all,

Quick question. Pentax K-X camera manual, page 255. Setting up the DPOF settings. I am trying to stamp the time and date on my pics and it does not seem to work, although I thought I was doiong as the book says. Does anyone have any imput on this. Thank you very much in advance.

Never used it.

But as far as I understand it, it only works of you print directly from the card with a printer that supports DPOF. Is that the context in which you're using it?

Yea, I have been thinking that too, that it only works if I print them. I wanted the date stamp on all the time, not just when I print. I think that is stupid and a real fault of the design of the k-x. Oh well! I don't know why it is a big deal to me, but it kind of is. Thank you for responding.

The date will show on the Exif data, that why it's not needed on the photo
