I asked for the serial number because that can sometimes reveal the lensmaker. But I'm not sure who 59xxxx is identified with. Sorry.

As for flashes: I'm just paranoid. I have an Official Pentax AF360 that I bought with my K20D, and that's the only flash I put on the camera. I have various cheap old flashes and haven't bothered to measure their trigger voltages because they'll never touch the camera. I got some cheap Slave Triggers to fire them remotely.

These can be used almost on-camera: Put old flash onto slave trigger mounted on extended flash bracket. Raise built-in flash, with slave trigger aimed at it, and the old flash aimed wherever I want. Point and snap: FLASH! And no dangerous voltages need disturb my fantasies.
