Please Help ( I have no Idea what this is ) with pics

If anybody can name this lens and let me know what adapter I can get to use it with my new K-x DSLR that would be extremely helpful!

The Buyer of this lens says they paid over 1000 dollars for it and only want 100 but it dosn't fit?

is there an adapter I can get to maake this work and is it worth it?

thanks everybody

oh and if I can figure out the pictures ill ad them here too.

That looks like a canon mount or something- so this won't fit your K-x. You can get one of these, though, which would be similar to this lens (I think the above is an 70-200/2.8):

Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 Di LD Macro Lens Reviews - Pentax Third-Party Lens Review Database

There is no adapter that will make that lens work on a Pentax camera.

Regardless, the story is highly suspicious. Lenses have good resale value so there is no reason at all to sell a working lens at a 90% discount to new unless 1) it's stolen or 2) it doesn't work.

It's a Minolta A mount aka Sony Alpha.
