Have i got this right?

Hey, i was going to get the K-x but now i see it isn't much more for the K-r...
So i'm thinking maybe i should get the K-r, only i'm worried because if i understand right when taking photos indoors it can have problems focusing?
Is this true? i really like that i could use both style of batteries in the K-r.
And apparently the screen is better too. and faster fps.

I believe pentax have released a firmware update regarding focusing...

I have a K-x... I love it... But if I was buying now and had the cash for the K-r... I'd buy the K-r...

Although that said if I had the cash... I'd be tempted to get a nice used K20...

Not necessarily, but you can easily download the firmware and update it yourself. It isn't terribly difficult, but you do need to follow the instructions exactly. You can find out what version of firmware you have by turning the camera on while holding the menu button down.

NaCl(and it's actually a pretty smart question)H2O

Your camera will have 'firmware' on it yes... But it may not be the newest version...

To check... Hold down the menu button and switch on the camera

Mine reads ver:1.01 and I updated a while back
