K-x: Frozen in Live View

Hey all,

I was using my K-x in live view when suddenly it froze: screen image was frozen, and no buttons worked. Flicked it on and off, hasn't turned off.

I'm considering taking out the batteries but not sure what that would do to it. Any help? Thanks!

I would take the batteries out. It's not any good like it is. Sooner of later the batteries will die anyway.

Mine has done this a couple of times on long exposures with low batteries. I just took them out and put them back in and everything came out ok. Hope all is well !

Alright, thanks for the quick responses guys : D ended up taking batteries before I read anything rofl. When I turned it back on, the LCD seemed like it had a bit of a nervous twitch - the corners of the screen were fluttering like a lightbulb about to go out, so turned it off and took batteries out and letting it sleep for the night ;D

It happened with me once, after recording a movie with the camera. Had to remove the batteries, because it wouldn't turn off.
When I turned back on everything was back to normal.
