Using all 10 mp with K10D

I don"t understand what this could be. I was told you could take a picture and only use 1mp instead of 10 mp. Tic-tac-toe thing 9 squares, 3 x3 ? Thank You, Ken J.

Not true. Go to page 118 of your manual and it will explain the 'JPEG Recorded Pixel' settings. 10m, 8m, 2m.
By using the settings for Jpg you are limiting how many of the sensor pixels you record on.

Thank You, I had set to 10mp, so all is well. I keep reading the manual and I also bought a Magic Lantern guide. Thank you for the quick help. Ken J.
