Need Help Retrieving Photos....

I have a Pentax K-x. My husband grabbed it to take photos of my nephew's science experiment.

When they came in to download he discovered there was NOT an SD card in the camera. I had taken it out.

The camera says no images....sooooo...can we just not find them or are they really not there.....?

No SD card in the camera means no photos. So your husband is out of luck on this one.

Uh yep! I found that out right after posting this....I had taken the SD card out to do something and he didn't realize the camera has no internal memory.

Oh well....

Thank you for responding......

Oh yes!! Thank you... I felt really dumb. I didn't even realize the Pentax doesn't have internal memory. I always put the sd cards in and use them.

Yep!! I really should go do the intro...

It is one of the reasons I have a battery grip on my camera. I did it once myself. Drove for about 30 mins from home to take some pictures, didn't bring my large camera bag containg all my spares, AND no card in camera.
Battery grip has facility to carry a card, and I have an empty card there permanently.
,No missing card and no flat battery either. Money very well spent.

Does the K-s support a battery grip? I hadn't looked into that yet. It was one of the features I wanted. I wanted to be able to put an external battery on the camera.
