Big videos not working on windows

I have made a few videos that are 8 9mins long, I can watch them fine on my Kx, all the way . but when I put them on my pc. it wont open, infact It freezes my pc...a few of the smaller ones work, but thats It

what can I do?

Try using VLC media player. Windows Media Palyer is bad!

yep..
But what are your pc's specs...some older hardware won't be able to play HD video (the kx records at 720pp if you don't change the default options...)...So maybe it isn't entirely WMP's fault if your computer is old.
If it isn't a hardware problem then Vlc will probably solve your problem.

I use gomplayer,
while yes my pc runs hd slow, it runs them and shows the full video, while these stop on the progress bar, about half way . asif the movie is not finished. yet they are .....

could it have something to do with the way the HD is formatted? FAT32 or whatever

Well depends on the size of the video really...Fat 32 will only handle files of less than 4 GB...so that might be it..but your HD (if it's the one you have your system on) should be ntfs...
(and if it was fat32 i'm not sure you would be able to copy files larger than 4GB.)
How old is your machine??
