Numbers stamped on the Takumar lenses

Well okay im not a PENTAX dslr user im a canon user all im asking is for some help with the lens side of pentax sorry if im in the wrong forum??
By the way the taks do rule.

I bought my spotmatic with a super tak 50 1.4 for 50 pounds in excellent condition.

The 55 and the 200, along with the 135 3.5 are the cheapest of the Taks ($50-70). A 50 1.4 that was selling for less than $100 last year is now $130-170. The price of the 85 has gotten ridiculous, way over $300. Even the 28 3.5 is going for $100 or more. The theory here is that this is mostly due to Canon shooters buying them up because they hear how great they are.

Well there we go Pentax did get something right. For us to use them on our canons.

It's absolutely sad that Canon users can't find good Canon glass and have to fall back on Pentax

By the way, you must not tell everybody that Takumars are cheap over here; now they come shopping for some cheap glass like the SuperTak 300mm/4 for ZAR600

You're right to hide the fact that you can buy a 300/4 for 1/3 the price in the US. Too bad Pentax Adapter K costs so much over there.
