Pentax k-x: Dead Pixels? Pixel Mapping?

I own a one month old Pentax k-x with 18-55 kit lens.

Yesterday I found a light green Pixel on a picture (indoor-tungsten), where
there should be no green Pixel [see image 1 - 100% crop].

It’s located approx. in the middle of the frame. Concerning this pixel: in various pictures red tones turn into green, dark tones into grey [see image 2 - 100% crop]:

Next I took a picture, 1600 ISO, 2 sec with lens cap on. The green Pixel
remained on the same location (x,y) [see image 3 - 100% crop]:

There were no other unusual findings on the picture. Next, I did a Pixel
Mapping which lead to the result, that in contrary to the first black
picture with lens cap on, 2 sec, 1600 ISO, I found about 15 to 20 dots in
different colours, mainly red, blue and and purple, dispersed across the
frame [see image 4 - 100% crop]:

However, when taking a „normal“ picture that original strange dot
could not be located anymore. Also, when lowering ISO to 200, no light coloured pixels could be found.

So now the question: is this a normal behavior or should the k-x be sent
in for repair?

So after running the pixel mapping the hot pixel does not show up anymore? If that is the case then the mapping worked as it should have and you are fine.

Thank you. I also guess, the problem was solved. However, what about the coloured dots across the frame (taken lens cap on, iso1600, 2sec). Is this a kind of noise? Sorry - I am not an expert, thus the maybe simple questions.

I'm not an expert either but I think those are also hot pixels which can be fixed with pixel mapping. Did those dots go away after running pixel mapping? If they are still there then I would definitely send it in for warranty service.
