Recommend a cheap (>$50) bag.)

There aren't really any stores around me that carry slings or backpacks. What would you recommend picking up online?

Check used.

$50 - $70 will get you a great backpack on Craigslist. I paid $50 for a Lowepro Sling Shot 200, and $65 for a Tamrac Adventure 9, both are almost new.

If you want to buy new and don't want to spend more than $50, check out the AmazonBasics or the Canon 200EG.

I was looking at the Amazonbasics but the thing seems huge.

I use a Crumpler 4 Million Home just to carry my K 7 + lens (under $50 from Amazon, depending on color).

I also have a Domke F-5XB Ruggeredware (around $80) when I want to take the flash + another lens along

And when I want to carry more, I use my Kata Digital Micro Rusack into which I can fit my K7 + 4 limited primes + AF360GZ flash + Battery Grip. It's available at <$50 at Adorama.

It is! This is what I have. It will easily fit two K-x and 2-3 more lenses plus additional accessories…and more. If you’re looking for something compact this won’t be it. But for best bang for the buck, for $35 I haven’t seen any deal that will beat this one.

Well met!

I recently bought a Caselogic SLRC-205 SLR Camera Sling and i love it. It's the perfect size (i avoided big, rectangular sling or backpacks that you must take off to get to the equipment)

This Caselogic is perfect for your average size DSLR + 1-2 extra lens and 2 extra filters. If you have need for a lot of space and extra accesories, a backpack type bag might be better.

Check it out

I know this is a little above your $50 ceiling, but this is a good bag with unlisted extras like a free Ergo tech strap. Just got mine and like it a lot. Plus small laptop storage.

I paid 50 or 55 dollars (Canadian) for a Pentax branded bag at a local photography store.

The Lowepro sling style bags pop up on The Marketplace from time to time for under $50. I have an SS 200 AW. You can pack a lot in them but with much weight, they can become uncomfortable: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-camera-field-accessories/37413-pen...ny-images.html

This one is not bad. Really pretty comfortable:Amazon.com: Pentax DSLR Nylon Black Sling Bag: Electronics

I also have one of these and can recommend it. Regardless of the small, shiny badging, I think it is a capable backpack: Amazon.com: Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG for Canon EOS SLR Cameras (Black with Green Accent): Camera & Photo

I recently got the Case Logic SLRC-205. It fits my K-r with tamron 28-75 on it nicely in the main compartment. The other compartment fits the charger and DA35 and a cleaning kit. It's comfortable to wear too.

Sorry, for the delay. I've been busy.

I don't really need something overly large (I'd imagine). I have a K-x, two kit lens (18-55 50-200) and a nifty fifty. I'd also like the bag to be able to carry my tripod if able to, but it doesn't have to be necessary.

I was initially looking at the Lowepro Flipside 200, but it seems to have risen in price from the $55 it was a few months ago.

Here is a link to Prodigital2000 eBay store, who seem to have a fair selection of Lowepro bags. I bought Lowepro Rezo 190 because I just wanted a compact lens storage, then I bought the Slingshot 200 for trekking with the camera. Either of these bags would be more than sufficient for your barebones kit. I will probably order another Rezo 190 or two, to stow the aftermath of my LBA.

Thanks,
