Yes, it is fairly optimistic as twitch mentioned and goes back to the rule of thumb based on 35mm format. I find I can get away with it on focal lengths between 50-100mm. Just depends on how steady your hands are. In body stabilization is supposed to also give you about a 1 stop leeway, or at least I hope to get away with that most of the time
